The ESP Mini Butt Grip is a neat, minimal rod rest head designed to hold the butt of your carp or specimen rod securely on a bank stick. Rather than a standard V-rest, the grip cradles the rod handle in a moulded rubberoid cup, giving a vice-like hold that stops the rod moving in the wind or on a take, yet releasing cleanly the moment you pick the rod up to strike.
Using a butt grip also protects the rod handle from grit and knocks on the bank, and it makes for a smart, tidy presentation on shorter sessions where carrying a full rod pod isn't worth it. It threads straight onto any standard bank stick or buzz bar via a machined stainless screw thread.
- Compact rubberoid cup that grips the rod butt firmly and releases cleanly
- Machined stainless steel screw fitting for standard bank sticks and buzz bars
- Available in sizes to suit abbreviated, shrink-rubber, duplon and cork handles
A simple, well-made piece of kit for carp and specimen anglers who want a secure, low-profile back rest.
Technical: Sizes offered to suit different handle types (small for abbreviated handles, medium for shrink rubber, large for duplon and cork); rubberoid grip cups on a machined stainless steel screw fitting.
