They are designed to be looped, loop-to-loop, onto Korda's separate pre-tied Boom sections so you can build a neat, fluorocarbon-boom combi-rig in seconds on the bank.
Each hook section is set up blow-back style, but using a lasso knot instead of a rig ring, and the in-turned eye of the Klor helps the hook flip and take hold in the bottom lip.
