Korda Intelligent Backleads are clever safety backleads that pin your main line down to the lakebed between you and the baited spot, hiding line from wary carp and reducing the chance of liners and spooked fish. The range spans four weights so you can match the backlead to the distance and lakebed you are fishing, from a subtle nick for close-in presentations up to a heavier option for holding line down at range or in a tow.
They can be attached to the line with one hand and slide easily down a super-slick plastic attachment, dramatically decreasing any movement transmitted to the rig end. Crucially, they are coated in the same way as Korda's leads and can be set either to stay on the line or to break apart and drop away if they snag in weed or a snag, keeping the set-up fish-safe.
