The Korda N-Trap DF Rig Wide Gape is a ready-tied carp rig designed by Danny Fairbrass, built on the proven Wide Gape hook pattern tied to 20lb N-Trap Soft coated hooklink. A size 8 swivel is attached at the other end via a figure-of-eight loop knot, so the rig is ready to clip straight onto your lead set-up.
It features a blow-back style ring running on the shank plus a section of shrink tubing to give the hook an aggressive, hook-turning stance, maximising hooking potential. This makes it a genuine all-rounder: fish it with bottom baits and wafters straight from the pack, or add a counterbalance weight to present a pop-up. The size 4 20lb version suits medium to large baits and hard-fighting carp on gravel, silt and weed.
