The Korda Inline Safety Kit provides a genuinely fish-friendly way to fish an inline lead. Designed by Jason Hayward, the system allows the lead to eject from the stem if the rig becomes tethered, weeded or snagged, so a carp is never left towing a lead. In normal fishing the fail-safe release holds firm and will withstand any cast, only letting go when it needs to.
Because the lead can be dropped when playing a fish, this kit is ideal for fishing over weed, around snags and with short hooklinks. The system is compatible with leadcore, rig tubing and naked set-ups, and works well with solid PVA bags, giving you a versatile presentation for a wide range of venues.
- Drop-off design ejects the lead in weed or snags for fish safety
- Fail-safe release withstands the cast but frees the lead when needed
- Works with leadcore, tubing or naked set-ups and solid PVA bags
